But at battered New Moscow, those allowed to two from the highest levels mapped the real love jungles of Antarctica.

Four extremist Martian cells. The Moderns of the Kremlin tried the forces in a common law.

They lost no time but couldn’t shut out things.

Martian Liberation Front formerly owned by Al Aswad’s enigmatic partner threw themselves on the cold trail commander.

Todd swore on her life & her loved one’s four terrorist groups visit her in Irish orbit. Sophisticated love of her life there who died hideously.

She made and lost fortunes & helped a dying half German baroness mothering a beautiful half-caste.

Encounters she’d won in a game of craps. Then she’d fallen out with her powerful friend – the Selenite known to her True Family as Al Aswad – & arrived on Mars bankrupt.

This Side of the Sun #3

“Ladies and gentlemen, I have a grave announcement to make. Incredible as it may seem, strange beings who landed in New Jersey tonight are the vanguard of an invading army from Mars.”

— Orson Welles, The War of the Worlds (broadcast October 30, 1938)

p1230453_2.jpg

Desperately power writing her straight tale of a young woman’s purpose of existence, Todd had been deported from Antarctica after spending three generations in hibernation… her hero in the cities & the limbic rain she was ready to sacrifice… the feverish glamour of wartime Mars… Daily Subspace top singularities flaring & waning. America stood on.

“Todd, she swarm, so the beasts and beauties hunted owe her some. Point-blank sympathy. She the woman who planned to kidnap the Moderns of the Kremlin as a family. A family, fighting & hating. Desper-competitive world going n-com.”

Now Todd has a mortal clash with Al Aswad.

The Swarthy One, who covets the Weed of Passion. The enemy. Bonds of guilt.

At the height of their fame, they had created an empire. Viva Al Aswad & the Martian Woman!

“Todd, she a bloody brave little pro hunter of billionaires. Creating an interstellar crisis for sport.

Take this from an old con-badger.”

Our dangerous journey! Modern America eyes fortune top jugular. Express only! But who called the hunter’s fast around to shop women? “Say it, & I talks to Washington,” carrying the inches square beyond then & Ma’s story continues. Ma kept Abner going guarded:

A Dream of the Desert

“Shallow men speak of the past; wise men of the present and fools of the future.”

— Madame du Deffand

p1100245.jpg

Monday, 15 Aug 2011:

Marooned in the desert, east of Las Vegas.

There’s John Wayne & Harvey Keitel,

wearing bolo ties & cowboy boots with silver tips.

“600 miles in both directions?”

“Duke tried to get rid of the money in Las Vegas. He blew it.”

Harvey Keitel is drawing a map in the sand.

“It’s out there. 600 miles into the desert.”

People are watching from parked vans & campers.

“Cut down every tree from here to Alamo!”

A crowd is forming.

“We’d like to have our share.”

A derelict Tuscan manor.

In the library, a fireplace of mouldy green marble.

Harvey Keitel’s got Nicholas Cage in a headlock.

“Where’s the key?”

“I have no idea.”

Suddenly the floor dissolves into a soft gel the color of chili con carne.

They’re crashing through the floor.

Into a green marble bathtub.

“I’m drowning. I’m sick of it all.”

“Sick of – what?”

Keitel & Cage are covered from head to toe in chili sauce.

“The bathtub. The fireplace. The linen. The lamb roast.”

“Isn’t is amazing how Scorsese pays attention to every detail?”
