Ghosts of New Year’s Past #1

Now the New Year reviving old Desires

The thoughtful Soul to Solitude retires,

Where the white Hand Of Moses on the Bough

Puts out, and Jesus from the Ground suspires.

— Omar Khayyám, The Rubaiyat (1120)

The New Year. The future. Yeah ole daddy Earth fixin’ to start one more trip ’round the sun and everybody hopin’ this ride ’round be a little more giddy, a little more gay. Yep, all over town champagne corks is a-poppin’.

Moses the Clock Man, The Hudsucker Proxy (1994)

  1. I´m in awe of what´s to come.
    Hope for a lucky strike.
A white wolfe in the snow maybe? All you can see are his eyes fixing you. You won´t be able to see the luck until it looks at you and so on …
    All the best,
    Jochen
